The Friendship Circle of Passaic County will hold an End of Summer Camp for children and teens with special needs Aug. 28 through Aug. 31 from 9:30 a.m. to 130 p.m. in the lower level of The Chabad Center, Wayne.
The cost is $20 per day and lunch will be served.
While many parents struggle with the often 7-to-10-day gap between the end of summer programs and commencement of the new school year, parents of children with special needs find this period especially challenging.
Children and teens with special needs can have their break transformed into an exciting camp experience, filled with activities, sports and fun.
Volunteers, along with a registered nurse, will be focused on encouraging the children’s participation and enjoyment under the guidance of highly qualified staff members. For more information, call 973 694-4970, or register at fcpassaiccounty.com under “programs” or “volunteers.”
